The movie Dark Shadows, released in 2012, is a dark fantasy adaptation of the gothic television drama of the same name. Tim Burton served as the director and the star-studded cast includes Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Bella Heathcote, who plays a dual role. This film also features a brief appearance by Christopher Lee, marking his 200th film credit and his fifth and final collaboration with Burton. In a tribute to the original series, Jonathan Frid, the star of Dark Shadows, makes a cameo, but unfortunately passed away before the film's release. Tragically, one of the film's producers, Richard D. Zanuck, also passed away just two months after its release.
