Captain Miller Movie
In 2024, a thrilling action-packed Indian Tamil-language movie titled Captain Miller was released. This movie was directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It is the first installment of a trilogy. It features Dhanush as the lead character, Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Aditi Balan, Sundeep Kishan, Edward Sonnenblick, and John Kokken in supporting roles. The story is set in the 1930s during the British rule in India and follows a former British Army soldier's journey to save his village from destruction by the British Army. The script for the movie was written by Arun in 2018 and Sathya Jyothi Films was initially set to produce it. However, it was not finalized until 2019 when the production began. The movie was first announced in July 2022 and filming started that September, wrapping up by late 2023. The shooting took place in Chennai, Tirunelveli, and Tenkasi. G. V. Prakash Kumar composed the music for the film, while Siddhartha Nuni was in charge of cinematography and Nagooran Ramachandran handled the editing.
