Premise

The film is a spin-off of the 2019 film Code 8. On June 1, 2021, it was reported Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell would create the continuation and repeat their jobs from the first film. On June 14, Ted Sarandos declared Netflix had gained the freedom to the element film. Shooting was planned to start in Toronto in October 2021.
